หลังจาก เจ้าหน้าที่หน่วยกู้ภัยฮุก 31 เข้าตรวจสอบพื้นที่หลังรีสอร์ท บ้านสะพานหิน หมู่ 6 ต.สุรนารี เพราะได้รับแจ้งว่า มีชาวต่างชาตินอนเสียชีวิตอยู่บริเวณนั้น
จากการตรวจสอบยังจุดที่ได้รับแจ้ง พบศพชายชาวต่างชาติคนหนึ่งนอนเสียชีวิตอยู่ในลักษณะนอนหงาย สวมชุดคลุมรีดน้ำหนักและมีเสื้อกันหนาวคลุมอีกชั้น นุ่งกางเกงวอร์มขายาว ตรวจสอบไม่พบบาดแผลหรือร่องรอยการถูกทำร้ายร่างกาย
ทั้งนี้ พบผู้เสียชีวิตชื่อ จอร์แดน โดนัลด์ ชาวสกอตแลนด์วัย 21 ปี เป็นนักมวยชื่อดังในสังกัดค่ายมวยลำน้ำมูล จังหวัดอุบลราชธานี มีชื่อในวงการว่า จอร์แดน ลำน้ำมูลมวยไทย โดยก่อนเกิดเหตุในเวลา 11.00 น. ของวันที่ 25 มีนาคม จอร์แดนได้วิ่งรีดน้ำหนัก เตรียมตัวสำหรับการชกในวันถัดไป แต่พอถึงช่วงค่ำ ทีมงานเห็นจอร์แดนยังไม่กลับ จึงออกตามหา แต่ไม่พบ พอมาวันนี้จึงพบเป็นศพหลังรีสอร์ท
เบื้องต้น ตำรวจคาดว่า เนื่องจากอากาศร้อนจัดมาก จอร์แดน เกิดอาการช็อกจากโรคลมแดด หรือ โรคฮีทสโตรก Heat Stroke จนทำให้เป็นลมหมดสติ และเสียชีวิต
ขณะที่ นายคึกฤทธิ์ กมลฤทธิ์ อายุ 44 ปี เจ้าของค่ายมวยลำน้ำมูล เปิดเผยเกี่ยวกับจอร์แดนเพิ่มเติมว่า จอร์แดน เคยผ่านการชกมาแล้วมากกว่า 60 ครั้ง แต่เพิ่งย้ายมาสังกัดที่ค่ายของตนได้ราว ๆ 1 ปีกว่า เคยขึ้นชกในนามค่ายทั้งหมด 14 ครั้ง แพ้แค่ครั้งเดียวเท่านั้น และยังเป็นเจ้าของแชมป์เวทีเวิร์คพอยท์รุ่นน้ำหนัก 61 กิโลกรัม ค่าตัวสูงสุด 100,000 บาท ทุกครั้งก่อนชก จอร์แดนจะรำเซิ้งเพลงอีสาน พร้อมกับเป่าแคนเพื่อสร้างสีสันเอาใจแฟนมวย จนได้รับฉายา “จอมเซิ้ง”
สาเหตุการมาพักที่รีสอร์ท เพราะจอร์แดนมีการชกในวันที่ 26 มีนาคม ตนจึงพาจอร์แดนมาพักที่ดังกล่าว เพื่อเตรียมความพร้อมสำหรับการขึ้นชกครั้งนี้

Scottish Muay Thai boxer has died in Thailand of suspected heatstroke on Sunday.
Jordan Coe, 20, was found dead in a heavy tracksuit and is believed to have been trying to reach a certain weight for a professional fight.
Mr Coe, of Maddiston, Falkirk was a professional Muay Thai boxer and formerly trained at a gym in Glasgow.
Trainer Kritchai Kritnok told police that the 20-year-old went out with the heavy clothing to try to shred three kilograms (6.6 pound) so that he could meet the 61-kg limit for a bout on Sunday, the Bangkok Post reported.
Craig Floan, his coach at Glasgow Thai Boxing Academy was told about his death in a phone call on Sunday.
He said: “Jordan was found this morning, he died in Thailand and the embassy there think he died from heatstroke.
“He moved to Thailand to chase his dream of becoming a professional after being with me for three and half years.
“We’ve set up a fundraiser for him and I’m now trying to help raise enough money to bring him home.”
At the time of writing donations passed the £14,000 make, almost three times of what Mr Floan was trying to raise.
Mr Coe, trained at Carnage Mhay Thai Gym in Grangemouth, but moved to Ubon Ratchanthani, Thailand to pursue his Muay Thai boxing dream.
Mr Coe thanked his family and friends for supporting him on his journey on Facebook last week.
“Almost three years living in Thailand and with each year, I always learn more and more,” he wrote.
“Thank you to my team, family, friends and fans for always helping me on my journey.
“I recommend anyone to go with their gut feeling and follow their dream. No matter what it may be.”
Mr Coe had been scheduled to fight a Cambodian boxer in the Muang district on Sunday night and was expected to return to Scotland in summer to fight at the Glasgow Thai Boxing Academy.
A Foreign Office spokeswoman said: “We are providing assistance to the family of a British national following their death in Thailand.
“Our thoughts are with them at this difficult time.”
